Blue Ribbon Awards

This year, the Blue Ribbon Award went to three persons, a first since this award started in 2013. These three students ranked 10th on the island all scoring a total of 476 points. They each will receive the amount of $1000.00 each per year.

The awardees were as follows:

• Jose D. Buxo Gamboa – Member (Jose O. Buxo)
• Nathanael D. Stafford – member (Solomon Stafford)
• Rochelle Griffith – member (Mc Kie Griffith)

Secondary school scholarship

The GPSCU scholarship as customary is granted to two students entering into secondary school for a period of five (5) academic years, receiving the amount of $1000 per year.

They are as follows:

• Rayana Douglas
• Jayden Holder

Brighter Future Scholarship

The Brighter Future Scholarship is awarded to students entering into T.A Marryshow Community College and will obtain a scholarship in the amount of $1500 per year for their two years in TAMCC.

They are as follows:

• Nathaniel Modeste

Joseph Bain Award

The Joseph Bain Award for 2016 assisted 4 members in their pursuit to their University level education at various institutions, receiving assistance in the amount of $5000.00 each.

They were as follows:
