Excitement, culture, awe and thanksgiving filled Church Street, Hillsborough as Ariza Credit Union celebrated the launch of its newly constructed Carriacou branch on December 5th, 2019. Joining the Ariza management and staff in the celebration were Minister Hon. Kindra Maturine-Stewart, community leaders and well-wishers in the Carriacou and Petite Martinique community.

Still conveniently located on Church Street Hillsborough, the new branch features a host of amenities aimed at improving member experience with each visit. Ariza saw the importance of upgrading its branch to accommodate and better serve the growing membership of Carriacou and Petite Martinique. The state-of-the-art building was designed with its members at the core. At the new branch, members will now have an experience that goes beyond everyday transactions. It is a comfortable environment where individual and business needs are met and dreams soar.

Mrs. Lucia Livingston-Andall, CEO of Ariza Credit Union explained the reasoning behind the significant investment in Carriacou and Petite Martinique. “Our membership, loans, deposits and profitability have grown exponentially over the years.” She added however, “prosperity on its own is insufficient; for prosperity to be worth anything, it must be shared and that is what we are doing. We are here because we see the need and we know it must be used for the development of all members and communities we serve. We have put down roots, we are here to stay!” Livingston-Andall added.

Also delivering remarks was Hon. Kindra Muturine-Stewart, Minister for Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs & Local Government & Legal Affairs. She noted “The construction of this building clearly demonstrates Ariza’s continuing commitment as a partner in the economic and financial development of all corners of the state of Grenada, including Carriacou and Petite Martinique. By this building you have made a bold and loud statement.”

This day holds significance for Ariza as it celebrates three (3) years since the initial rebrand in 2016. With this considerable investment in Carriacou and Petite Martinique the Ariza brand continues to be a symbol – a symbol of passion for its members and passion for progress. That is why the Credit Union continues to create a home for its members where they can save, invest and progress. With the added space of this new branch, members can benefit from financial wellness seminars, beginning January 2020, that will help them to more wisely save and spend.
